本科畢業於上海大學中文系，95年赴美留學獲波士頓大學計算機碩士學位。

原上海《文匯報》資深電影記者， 作家，編劇。互聯網營銷經驗二十餘年。2003年海歸後應邀加盟IT企業，參與“無線娛樂第一股”掌上靈通在納斯達克的上市。2005年參與策劃“超級女聲”，推動李宇春等一批素人通過互聯網短信投票成功出圈，此次活動也成為中國整合營銷的經典案例和開山鼻祖。

為推廣選秀節目與市場結合，同年又主導撰寫並策劃出版了當年熱銷書籍《超級女聲超級策劃》，成為被各大媒體及企業廣泛學習的整合營銷手冊。因其卓越貢獻，2006年被評為中國IT十大巾幗女英雄。

Sunny熱衷公益事業，熱心華裔社區建設，在2019年重新回到美國生活之後，與昔日夥伴一起主導創建了北美最熱公眾號之一《渡十娘》並任主編。目前已有訂閱用戶超過四萬三千名，遍佈世界各地。深受各界好評，立志要“做公眾號裡的《紐約客》”。

著有《上海往事》《飛向納斯達克的分分秒秒》《超級女聲超級策劃》《梔子花白蘭花》（劇本）等。

She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Shanghai University. In 1995, she went to the United States for further studies and earned a master's degree in computer science from Boston University.

Formerly a senior film reporter at Shanghai’s Wenhui Daily, she is also a writer and screenwriter with over twenty years of experience in internet marketing. After returning to China in 2003, she was invited to join an IT company and participated in the NASDAQ listing of Linktone, known as the "first wireless entertainment stock." In 2005, she contributed to the planning of Super Girl, a singing competition that propelled contestants like Li Yuchun to fame through internet and SMS voting. This event became a landmark case and pioneering example of integrated marketing in China.

To further merge talent shows with market strategies, she also led the writing and planning of the bestselling book Super Girl Super Planning that same year, which became a widely studied integrated marketing manual across various media and corporate sectors. For her outstanding contributions, she was named one of China’s Top Ten Female IT Heroes in 2006.

Sunny is passionate about philanthropy and actively involved in the construction of the Chinese-American community. After returning to the United States in 2019, she co-founded and now serves as the editor-in-chief of Dushi Niang, one of North America’s most popular public WeChat accounts. With over 43,000 subscribers worldwide, the account has received widespread acclaim and aims to become "the New Yorker of public accounts."

Her published works include Shanghai Past,  Every Second to NASDAQ, Super Girl Super Planning and  Gardenia and White Orchid)(screenplay).

She currently resides in Boston.
