美國好萊塢編劇協會，導演協會及製片協會的三大協會的終身會員。美國洛杉磯華文作家協會會員。本科畢業於中山大學。留美就讀加州大學洛杉磯分校電影學院，獲得獲導演碩士學位。 曾與好萊塢頂級導演合作過多部電影，包括獲得奧斯卡提名的導演邁克爾雷德福，奧利弗·斯通、陳凱歌等。她的工作室合作的電影廠包括傳奇影業、迪士尼、夢工廠和ABC等。

A lifelong member of the three major Hollywood guilds: the Writers Guild of America, the Directors Guild of America, and the Producers Guild of America. She is also a member of the Chinese Writers' Association of Los Angeles. She completed her undergraduate studies at Sun Yat-sen University and pursued her graduate education in the United States at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts in Directing.

She has collaborated with top-tier Hollywood directors on multiple films, including Oscar-nominated directors such as Michael Radford, Oliver Stone, and Chen Kaige. Her studio has partnered with major film production companies, including Legendary Pictures, Disney, DreamWorks, and ABC.
