美國中⽂作家協會永久會員，國際花道協會教師級會員。簡妮七⼗年代從軍，當過戰地記者。⼋⼗年代她是活躍在北京的資深記者編輯，各種報刊撰稿⼈，發表過新聞特寫，報告⽂學，小說，散⽂等作品，曾獲過全國好新聞⼀等獎。九⼗年代初她赴美任明尼蘇達⼤學新聞學院訪問學者，後進⼊美國商界，並創辦太陽畫廊任策展⼈⼗四年。她的新書《荷風來》簡妮花道散⽂集剛剛問世，長篇小說《戰愛》即將出版。

Jenny Sun, writer, former journalist, and floral designer. She is a lifetime member of the Chinese Writers’ Association in the United States and a certified instructor-level member of the International Ikebana Association.
Since the late 1970s, Jenny worked as a war correspondent. In the 1980s, she was an active senior reporter and editor in Beijing, contributing articles to various newspapers and periodicals. She published news features, reportage literature,novels, and essays, and once won the National Award for Excellent News (First Prize).
In the early 1990s, she went to the University of Minnesota as avisiting scholar at the School of Journalism. Later, she entered the American business community and founded Sun Gallery ,where she organized art exhibitions for more than fourteen years.
Her new book Lotus Breeze (a collection of floral essays) has just been released, and her full-length novel Love in the Time ofWar will be published soon.
