筆名鐘梅西。華中師範大學文藝學碩士。世界微短劇研究會秘書長，《世華文學》編委會成員。美國中文作家協會理事會理事、小說與影視藝委會委員，西北華文筆會會員。湖北廣電主任編輯，歷任湖北廣電首席編劇、製片人。全國欄目劇評優一等獎和最佳編劇獎。早期劇本收入湖北經視名牌欄目《經視故事會》同名劇集。出版長篇小說《如雲漂泊》（“海外版”與“國內版”），講述疫情大背景下，海外華人的生活震蕩和人生反思，被俄亥俄州立大學收藏。微短劇《我的美式重生》獲首屆全球影視微短劇集大獎賽二等獎。小說《中國花瓶》獲第二屆國際華語原創IP電影節最佳IP獎。著有中英文雙語詩集《五月的思緒》。其他散文、隨筆見諸《華人》《星島日報》《世界日報》等雜誌、報刊、網絡。

Pen Name: Zhong Meixi
Master of Arts in Literary Theory from Central China Normal University. Secretary-General of the World Micro-Drama Research Association and member of the editorial board of World Chinese Literature. She serves as a council member of the American Chinese Writers Association and a member of its Fiction, Film, and Television Arts Committee, in addition to being a member of the Northwest Chinese Writers Association.

As a senior editor at Hubei Broadcasting and Television, she has held key positions including chief screenwriter and producer. She has received national awards such as the First Prize and Best Screenwriter Award in Chinese program drama evaluations. Her early scripts were featured in the acclaimed Hubei Economic TV series Economic TV Story Conference.

She is the author of the full-length novel Drifting Like a Cloud, published in both overseas and domestic editions. The novel portrays the upheavals and introspections of overseas Chinese during the pandemic and has been archived by The Ohio State University.

Her micro-drama My American Rebirth received the Second Prize in the First Global Film & TV Micro-Drama Awards. The short story Chinese Vase was honored with the Best IP Award at the 2nd International Chinese-Language Original IP Film Festival.

She has also published a bilingual poetry collection, Thoughts in May, in both Chinese and English. Her essays and prose have appeared in publications such as Chinese People, Sing Tao Daily, and World Journal, as well as on various online platforms.
